It cannot send WhatsApp messages on its own yet: that is pending review, so SahajBiz opens each message in WhatsApp and you press Send yourself. Bill links and a shop link work once you sign in.

No — that is the sample book, and it is there only if you asked to see one. The first time you open SahajBiz it asks for your name, your business name and your trade, and then your book is empty and waiting for your first order. If you tapped Show me a sample first instead, you get three made-up orders to look around with, and a strip along the top says so. Tap Clear the samples on that strip and they are gone; anything you added yourself stays.

No account is needed. Without one, everything you record stays on this phone and works — orders, bills, the customer book, your price list. Signing in adds two things: your book is copied to your own cloud ledger, so a lost or changed phone does not lose it, and the AI features work at their best. Your device book is carried up the moment the account is created, not left behind — nothing is erased from the phone either. If you never sign in, take a backup from Account → Profile now and then.

No installation is required! SahajBiz is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that runs instantly in your browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge). You can tap 'Add to Home Screen' on your phone to get a full-screen app experience with zero storage clutter.

Your book, orders, bills and UPI QR are free. Every new account also starts with 7 days of full Pro. After that Pro is optional: ₹99 a month or ₹999 a year, inclusive of all taxes, renewing until you cancel, with a 7-day money-back promise on your first payment.

The app is available in four languages: English, हिन्दी (Hindi), मराठी (Marathi) and Hinglish (Hindi written in English letters). Voice recognition works in English, Hindi and Marathi. When you have a connection, it also understands everyday quantities like '1 kilo', 'ek dazan' or '25 pieces' and spoken rupee figures — that reading is done online, so on a weak connection you may need to correct a field or two on the confirm screen.

After recording, SahajBiz presents a clean 'Review & Confirm' editor before anything is saved. You can quickly edit customer name, quantities, delivery time, or advance payment with one tap.

When you add a product, you enter two things: what the materials cost you, and how many hours it takes. SahajBiz adds your time and packaging on top and suggests a selling price that covers all three plus a margin, so your labour is never given away free. The full breakdown — materials, labour, packaging, margin — is shown on the product card. The hourly rate and margin it uses are sensible defaults today, not yet something you can set yourself.

The catalog shares the item name, description and selling price as a WhatsApp draft. You review it and press Send in WhatsApp. Your costs and margins are not included. Photos can be kept in your private catalog; this share is text only.

Sign in, open Catalog and tap “Switch shop link on”. You get one link to your price list to share on WhatsApp; tick “Show on Google” if you want new customers to find it too. Or tap Share on a single item to send just that one. Your costs and margin are never shown.

Tap WhatsApp to open an editable order summary. Check the customer, amount and payment details, then press Send yourself. Confirm receipt in your bank or UPI app before recording a payment in SahajBiz.

Yes. When recording an order, you can specify advance received (e.g. ₹300 on an ₹850 order). The invoice automatically displays 'Advance Paid: ₹300' and 'Balance Due: ₹550', preventing any billing confusion.

SahajBiz keeps the ledger for you from your orders. The Customers tab lists everyone with their order count, lifetime value and what they still owe, sorted so whoever owes the most is at the top. The Khata tab collects the outstanding dues in one list, each with a WhatsApp reminder button and a courteous message already written — and it tells you when you last messaged them, so nobody gets nagged twice.

No. Your customers need no account and no app. Your messages reach them on their own WhatsApp, and they pay you with any UPI app by scanning the QR code on your bill.

SahajBiz is local-first. Until you sign in, your ledger never leaves your device — no order, customer or amount is uploaded and we cannot see them. (Usage counts — which buttons are used — can be switched off in Settings → Privacy & rights.) That also means it is only as safe as the device: clearing your browser or changing phones erases it, so use Export Backup in Settings. Once you sign in, your data is stored in Supabase under Row Level Security, where only your own account can read it. What you recorded before signing in is carried up to the account the moment it is created, and nothing is erased from the phone.

Partly, and it is worth knowing which parts. Your ledger is kept on your own device, so with the app already open you can read your orders, look up a customer, see who owes what and work out a price with no connection at all — and anything you change is saved on the phone, not lost. Dictating a new order does need a connection: the speech recognition is done over the internet by your phone's browser. Typing an order does not — SahajBiz reads what you typed on the phone itself and fills the form in there. Opening the app fresh with no signal is not dependable yet. So: reading your book, editing it and typing an order work offline; dictating one needs signal.
